In the body paint the Little Match Girl's spirit is taken up into the night sky full of stars by the ghost of her grandmother. The glowing matchstick flame visions of a warm loving Christmas, a fireplace and a disturbing vision of hungered for food that comes to life, are glowing among the galaxies hidden in the rags of the Little Match girls ragged clothes.
A sad story from 170 years ago, with still sad connections to today. Abuse in the form of neglect, emotional abuse and physical abuse, poverty and homelessness still loom large in children's lives in the UK
This day was not a sad day though. A great fun body painting collaboration with Michelle's face painting and our amazing model was none other than Kirsty from Urban Sparkle!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ Who did win??? !!!Our other friends Sharon and Donna from Let's Face It and Yorkshire Face Paints!!!!
