This beautiful shoot came about when two lovely daughters bought their mum (P) her dream 50th Birthday gift!:D
There's a heap of pictures in this gallery, kindly shared by P and photographer Helen, to give a great idea of what happens at a shoot:)
The brief: Dragonflies as the theme and a palette of 'deep turquoises, blues, stunning greens and teal colours....with black designs for wing shapes etc. All very random though; I don't want to be an actual dragonfly'
At the start of the day we settled in, drank coffee whilst having a last minute look over the paints we would be using (to many oooohs and ahs) and then got painting:D
The studio has plenty of space so the P's daughters got to hang out with us and chat about wedding plans and travels during the day's painting, and we nibbled on snacks and broke for lunch together making for a real mother/daughters treat day.
At our Thurnscoe Studio we are very lucky as Helen Booth is a wonderful and nationally renowned photographer on our doorstep and she came along to create with us!
Helen's Masque Photography Studio is just down the road in Brierly but on the day Helen came over to us and set up a mobile studio to preserve P's painting at it's best for the shoot.
A gorgeous day day topped of with a professional shoot in expert photographic hands!:D
